Funding the Future
The IETF College Scholarship Program launched in 2011 with a modest amount of funding. That year, eleven students with essential tremor (ET) applied for funds from the International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF) College Scholarship Program.

For the 2011-2012 academic year, the IETF proudly presented $500 grants each to four deserving post-high school students. Grants will be awarded for up to four qualified students each for the fall and spring semester during 2012-2013.

As part of our mission to support those affected by ET, the IETF assists selected students with ET by lessening the financial burden of attaining higher education. Your help is needed to build the scholarship fund established by the IETF.

Building the Scholarship Program
The IETF needs additional generous donors to develop the scholarship program. With your support, we can help many qualified and deserving applicants to finance some of their educational expenses.

The IETF will establish specific scholarship awards in the donor’s name, if desired, to be awarded annually, i.e. the Jane Smith Award. These scholarship awards are a powerful way to honor or memorialize a loved one.

The IETF College Scholarships are for tuition only at licensed, accredited institutions of higher education and are paid directly to the educational institution.
